The architects design called for a profiled composite panel to roof and walls incorporating rooflights to give natural daylight to the tennis courts and single ply membrane to plant-rooms areas.

The deep eaves overhangs were accentuated with flat composite panels to the soffits.

The project was part refurbishment and part new build. The single skin standing seam with anti-condensation film was roll-formed on site and placed over an existing building on new steelwork. On radial areas, tapered standing seam sheets were used.

With proven ability to meet the overall design requirements, which usually consisted of bullnose feature flashings, ‘Y’ shaped down pipes and pre-formed corners.

Weatherwise won an on-going series of contracts for David Lloyd Fitness Centres throughout the UK, including Nottingham, Warrington, Stockton-on-Tees, Derby, Bromsgrove and Cheam.

Overall Value is in excess of £2 million to date with future clubs planned in Exeter.
