We are looking for a Site Manager/Supervisor for an immediate start.

Working on an Energy from Waste plant in St Dennis – Cornwall

5 Years Min Experience required with minimum SSMSTS.

Experience required in the installation and Supervision of Standing Seam Roofing and Composite Wall Panels.

Accommodation can be provided if required

Main Tasks:

To manage the day to day activities involved in achieving our contractual obligations on designated projects, with the focus on achieving customer satisfaction whilst continually working to achieve the most cost & time effective solutions.

To continually ensure compliance with contractual programme, and highlight any relevant matters to your Project Manager to ensure that we comply with our contractual obligations, and the team serves any relevant notices of delay etc.

To communicate with the rest of the internal and external team to ensure a full understanding of the project is continually maintained.

To ensure both Health & Safety and Quality Assurance systems are adhered to, and any potential opportunities to improve either are communicated to the team for consideration.

To produce weekly reports and / or records as required, but in particular to comply with all QA & H&S requirements.

All verbal instructions, variations and daywork’s are brought to the attention of the Project Manager for processing.

To assist in preparation of Contract Method Statements & Risk Assessment, as necessary, and keep up to date for any changes to works, as agreed with your Project Manager. Ensure full compliance by the workforce with the agreed methods of works.

To establish a safe working environment on site, and ensure all notices are displayed – such as insurances, H&S policy etc. This also extends to weekly toolbox talks & inductions etc. All as agreed with your Project Manager.

To issue all tools & safety equipment / PPE necessary to carry out the works, and to ensure all appropriate records are maintained. Ensure these are P.A.T. tested.

To manage labour & other sub ordinates in accordance with the Company Procedures, for recruitment, discipline etc.

To ensure all necessary details are provided for any site raised requisitions / orders to explain their requirements and allow for suitable costs allocation, whether for VO’s or otherwise.

Ensure only the appropriate plant is used on site, and only trained operatives use the plant, in line with the agreed methods of work.

Ensure that all deliveries are checked and any shortages recorded, and all relevant information is communicated to the Head Office, and to the Project Manager.

To carry out all other duties as specified by the Management Team.
